Picture use and purchase policy I setup a new e-mail for requests for picture sales. I'm sorry it's not a clickable link or copyable text, you'll have to manually type it. I'm hoping to avoid web-bots and stay off of spam lists by using a picture file. Please mention paintball pictures in the subject line.
Dawn and I have been discussing selling the excess pictures I take online. We're still making adjustments here and there. The the internet quality pictures here will be free for anyone who wants them as long as you don't remote link them as pictures elsewhere and as long as you give me credit for taking them. I will occasionally remote link pictures myself but Armored Fist only has 10gig a month bandwidth, so if that limit gets hit the site shuts down and the pictures will be unavailable. Since the internet quality pictures posted here are free and I would appreciate it if instead of remote linking to a picture you like, simply right click the expanded picture save it to your computer and host it elsewhere. Please don't forget to give me the photo credit if you do use them though, I wouldn't want some photographers union harassing me because of my loose policies, talk to a typical wedding photographer about copying wedding pictures if you want to know more about that. I would also greatly appreciate it, if everyone who takes copies of the internet quality images for their own websites add a link back to Armored Fist from their site. I have generally been cropping these pictures a bit when I'm resizing them. That has been taking up a lot of time so I'm no trying to stay away from that and simply resizing the images. As for the print quality images they're taken as Large/Fine jpeg on a Nikon D70 and are generally between 2 and 3 megabytes each prior to adjustments. When printed before cropping they take up almost an entire 8.5" by 11" sheet of paper. We haven't really been selling much in the way of printed pictures and I'm currently leaning towards charging $5 for an 8.5" by 11" sheet of pictures. So you can ask for a single picture on that 8.5" by 11" or as many images you want (within reason) and it'll still be $5. I tend to use HP Advanced Glossy paper for promotional prints and I'm trying to use HP's Premium Plus glossy for sale prints. I would prefer payment through paypal but I would like you to e-mail me the photo request before paying. Some of the pictures online may not scale up to a full size print. That is especially true for the pictures taken at indoor fields. So I'll have to look over the requests to see if they can be printed at the desired size before accepting any payment. We're also selling pictures on CDs. The quickest and easiest is to buy entire cards on CD. That would be an entire memory card worth of raw pictures. It's usually between 160 and 200 pictures. That would be everything on a card with nothing processed. Dawn has a pricing schedule around here somewhere but it's 1:00 am right now and I'll have to dig it up later. |
